About Zachariah
Zach Chasen (he/they) is a resilient and perceptive performer and writer. At UCLA’s School of Theater, Film and Television he performed in three season shows and one main-stage musical. He has written and performed shows for the Bruin Fringe Fest including Broken Phone; a one-act play, and Dater Joe’s; a song cycle. As a student, Chasen has also appeared in multiple short films, collaborated on several film projects at USC and LMU, worked with the legendary Peter Weller in an Acting for the Camera Masterclass, studied abroad at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Acting in their Shakespeare Summer course, and acted in the award-winning short film: Twice as Shy.
Other credits include Macbeth at Will Geer’s Theatricum Botanicum (AEA), Earnest in The Importance of Being Earnest with Out of the Blue Theater Company, Bellboy in Jean Paul Sartre’s No Exit, and Jon Lomberg in The Golden Record; a new musical developed within the Ray Bolger Musical Theater Program. He has volunteered for arts programs within the Los Angeles Unified School District, teaching children about theater and bringing the power of creativity to underprivileged schools. He is excited to explore hard-working and groundbreaking productions that inspire others to live a life that is truthful and honest to themselves.
