About Kaity

Kaity Cairo (she/her) is an actor with the aim to tell meaningful stories that celebrate the female experience. She's originally from Sarasota, Florida, coming from a solo cabaret theater background. In her senior year of high school, she wrote and performed an original solo play called "Chubby Little Half-Jew Meets Skinny Little Italian Boy," which was selected to be a part of the Sarasolo Festival. While in college, she founded and creatively directed Bimbos Production Company, a student-run production company with the mission to highlight female driven stories. For her thesis project at UCLA, she executive produced and starred in Pointe of Obsession, a Bimbos produced hyper-femme slasher short, which is now starting its festival run. Additionally, she graduated from the Advanced Shakespeare summer program at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London in 2023. During her time at UCLA, Kaity studied at the Groundlings School of Improv, most recently completing the intermediate level. In her 3rd year, she was selected to work with Tim Robbins at The Actors Gang for a Commedia dell'Arte UCLA collaboration course. Kaity is very proud to have received three UCLA theater awards in 2024— The Ralph Freud Fellowship in Acting, the Steve Lawrence and Eydie Gorme Scholarship, and the Faith Surabian Memorial Scholarship in Theater. Overall, at her time working towards her undergraduate degree, Kaity has worked both professionally and on a student level in short films, television, and theater. She is an extremely tenacious and hard working actor, and Kaity is so excited to continue her career in the industry post-grad.
